Octopus
This is based on a painting of a catholic nun, but is pretty much anti organized religion in general. From 2001.
987
Also from 2001. I truly can't remember what this was supposed to be. As a matter of fact, most likely I was just experimenting with different shades and textures.
Nightmare
And yet another one from 2001. Some kind of nightmarish face made out of skulls and people. Must've had a hard time back then...
Mephistopheles
Another piece from 2001. The horned one. This was inspired by Goethe's Faust, which I was re-reading at the time.

Another Nightmare
The last of the 2001 series (at least for today). I remember checking my computer in the morning and found this on my screen, without the slightest idea of how I did it (the previous night), hahaha. I have spent hours and hours since then figuring out all the details, though.
Red Demon
Here's the first one from my 2001 collection (by far my most creative year so far) and one of my alltime faves. Lots of different tones of red with a glassy look and, yes, a red demon.

Digital Art
The very first one I
called Stonehenge
because that's what
it is.
Metamorphose
got its name be-
cause I was re-
reading Kafka at
the time.
This is the Dark
Tower. Let's
see if you can
guess what
inspired it.
More to come soon...

Eye of the beholder
My daughter asked me to download the photos she had taken with her cellphone to my laptop so she could take more. Apparently she had been taking pictures of
herself and there was one pic of her left eye which particularly caught my interest, even though it was of rather poor quality (low res, bad illumination, etc.).
Anyway, after a couple of hours of fiddling around with Photoshop I came up with these two variations.
She says she likes the red & turqoise one better, while I rather favour the other one.
What do you think?
