Metzcatl

Es la nueva imagen que diseñe para mis chupes (www.metzcatl.com). Muy pronto a la venta en lugares selectos.

In Flames

Another niece piece from 2001 and my version of a monolithic burial site. Hope you like it.

Octopus

Octopus, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

This is based on a painting of a catholic nun, but is pretty much anti organized religion in general. From 2001.

Alcohol

Alcohol, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

The title says it all. Blurred vision included. Also done in 2001.

987

987, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

Also from 2001. I truly can't remember what this was supposed to be. As a matter of fact, most likely I was just experimenting with different shades and textures.

Nightmare

Nightmare, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

And yet another one from 2001. Some kind of nightmarish face made out of skulls and people. Must've had a hard time back then...

Dinosaur

Dinosaur, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

This is based on a picture of dinosaur footprints. Nice colours. Also done in 2001.

Mephistopheles

Mephistopheles, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

Another piece from 2001. The horned one. This was inspired by Goethe's Faust, which I was re-reading at the time.

Another Nightmare

Another Nightmare, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

The last of the 2001 series (at least for today). I remember checking my computer in the morning and found this on my screen, without the slightest idea of how I did it (the previous night), hahaha. I have spent hours and hours since then figuring out all the details, though.

Triumph Of Death

Triumph Of Death, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

Hellhammer inspired...not much else to say about this really. lol.

Chief

Chief, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

Another favourite from 2001. This is how I envisioned an Indian elder.

Red Demon

Red Demon, originally uploaded by anonimo666.

Here's the first one from my 2001 collection (by far my most creative year so far) and one of my alltime faves. Lots of different tones of red with a glassy look and, yes, a red demon.

New Art

Simply called "Flower", this one is based on a picture taken at a recent field trip close to Tepoztlan (State of Morelos, México). I didn't really change it that much, as I wanted to preserve the flower's symmetry.

Digital Art

All of these were done in 2000 and, as such, reflect my earliest attempts at finding what I'd like to call "my style". And yes, they look a lot better in hi-res.

The very first one I
called Stonehenge
because that's what
it is.

Metamorphose
got its name be-
cause I was re-
reading Kafka at
the time.

This is the Dark
Tower
. Let's
see if you can
guess what
inspired it.

More to come soon...

I'll soon upload all of my digital art, starting with the 2000 - 2001 period.
Stay tuned.

"The Chase" - My first (very) short film

This was originally intended to be a car / car chase but had to be re-written for various reasons. I could very well imagine using a shortened version of this as a commercial for either PepsiCo or the Coca Cola Company (which, incidentally, is also why the girl is drinking soda in the end).

Pics IV

A critter from outer space? Probably not...

Top view of a young pine tree, taken at the Zempoala lagoons near Cuernavaca (State of Morelos, Mexico).

Pics III

What a car !!!

The sky over my hometown of Wolfsburg (Germany), seen reflected on the back of a 1938 Skoda Sedan 420.

Pics II

Guess where the bulls were when I put down the camera.

This one was taken at the traditional "Huamantlada" in Huamantla (State of Tlaxcala, Mexico).

Pics I

I only do real photos (no digital) and only b/w. I hope you like them. I'll try to get more scanned in soon.

Want some candy?

The big lollypop is the TV tower in Düsseldorf (Germany.

Eye of the beholder

These are the first two of my new designs after a hiatus of approximately 3 years.

My daughter asked me to download the photos she had taken with her cellphone to my laptop so she could take more. Apparently she had been taking pictures of

herself and there was one pic of her left eye which particularly caught my interest, even though it was of rather poor quality (low res, bad illumination, etc.).

Anyway, after a couple of hours of fiddling around with Photoshop I came up with these two variations.

She says she likes the red & turqoise one better, while I rather favour the other one.

What do you think?
